Personal comparison project

What I Did

This project was an individual project, for a University course. For this project, I researched and compared two options for myself after graduating college. I began by deciding my criteria to compare in my report. I chose two cities to compare, as well as two courses of action. I submitted a proposal, which was approved, and then began researching my criteria. I submitted a progress report after one month in order to update my professor and make sure I was on the right track. I interviewed business owners, and did web research. My final deliverable was a professional report detailing my research and my recommended course of action.

 

What I Learned

Through this process, I learned language and editing, as well has how to write effectively. I also learned how to write a professional report.

What Problems I Overcame

I ran into problems with correspondence through my interviews, and through this learned how to speak more effectively to those I am interviewing, and to continue discussion through online methods.
